The DCO held its second Executive Committee meeting Sept. 22-23 at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and Rockefeller University, both located in New York City. The Executive Committee (EC) reviewed the past six months of DCO activities, focusing on the activities of the four DCO science Directorates as well as past and proposed DCO-sponsored workshops. In addition, committee discussions addressed DCO's decadal goals, partnership possibilities, education and outreach, data management, instrumentation development, concept papers, and ways to engage and manage the DCO's growing science community.
