The Department of Earth Sciences at Dartmouth College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of mineralogy and geochemistry. Particular attention will be given to candidates with research interests in applied mineralogy related to mineral-microbe or water-rock interactions. The successful candidate will continue Dartmouth's strong traditions in graduate and undergraduate research and teaching. Teaching responsibilities consist of three courses spread over four ten-week terms. One or more of these courses will have a core focus on the fundamentals of mineralogy.
